The model number shown on my air cleaner is HC-EAC-1400 with a date code of 0001. It appears the air flow switch is not working. Is the 80K61 compatible with this unit.
You can use the link in the signature line of my response to contact the CozyParts.com, Inc parts counter. They can look up the correct part number for you.

Replaced the air flow switch. The LED lights up when the blower is on. However, the "normal" arcing that occurs when the EAC first activates has not been heard. I know there is power coming from the HV unit. The cells look OK. Is it possible that the HV unit is not putting out enough volts? Is there any way to test this? Is there any way to test the cells?
If the light is on, the high voltage unit should be working. There is not an easy way to check the high voltage unit without using a high voltage meter (its around 6K volts). Probably would be easiest to just let it run a few weeks and see if dust is collecting on the cells.
