Looking for some feedback on a couple of questions:
1.) First, the .1 hp fan motor kicked on my 5 year-old HP15 and then about 2 weeks later it went out on my 5 year-old HP19. Yeah, in mid-atlantic there has been a bunch of snow and cold but I have vigilant about keeping snow/ice off/away from the platform. Any ideas or suggestions or just an infortunate coincidence?
2.) Any recommendations on where(site or central VA) to pick up replacement fan motors for these?
Thanks

Could be coincidental, or with the storm power surges or disruption may have taken out the capacitors.
Before condemning the fan motors, check the capacitors.

As a Lennox Technician I feel basic repairs and maintenance can be performed by the homeowner. But I highly suggest that periodic maintenance should be made by a certified licensed technician. You should contact your local Lennox technician for any repairs or issues that are outside your comfort zone. Property damage, personal injury, and death can occur from improperly repaired or maintained systems. Replacing a part doesn't always resolve the issue that caused the part to fail!
