Capacitors

There is two types of capacitors used in most HVAC units - start capacitors and run capacitors. Not all units have both. To make matters more complicated, run capacitors used in air conditioning and heating units fall into two categories... dual run capacitors and single run capacitors. On all capacitors it is important to know the microfarad rating and the maximum working voltage rating of the capacitor before you replace it. If you can't read your old capacitor, find your Lennox model number and write it down.  After you have found the complete Lennox model number, fill out this form, and one of our specialists will find the correct part number for you.
